16 x 20 oil on canvas, painterly floral impressionism with old master influence
This oil painting was inspired by the Moody elegance of Dutch floral still lives with a Painter really contemporary touch. I wanted this piece to feel like a quiet moment, suspended in time with blooms emerging from the darkness with a life of their own
Created during my studies with the wonderful Cindy Awrey, whose guidance and encouragement continue to help me grow as an artist.

“Grisaille Study: Landscape” 8×10 Oil on paper. Another master copy I did here learning about values.

This painting is for my sweetie. A tree reborn in crimson and coral petals, its trunk twisted with time and loyalty, like something that could’ve grown in the gardens of Lothlorien. The kind of tree you’d find in a place where time slows and love never fades
We’ve walked through our own mountains, fires, and second breakfast. But always, always we find our way back.
This is our spot, our Shire, this is where I’ll always find you.

It’s the scenic route worth taking: tulips to the left, magic to the right.
